Rebecca Swist


Originally from Bremen Germany, Rebecca moved to the UK some time ago and attended Dundee University where she graduated with a Masters Degree in Social Work. Rebecca’s travels led to her first volunteer experience in disaster recovery following the 2007 earthquake in Pisco, Peru. In 2010 She spent over a year in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, working in various projects ranging from classroom construction to education efforts to training social workers. This is also where Rebecca first met Olivia & Emma. Since then she has been informally supporting EduHaitian’s work and was honoured to become more formally involved, initially as a member of the board and now as the chair. She now lives in Bristol and works as an Autism Specialist, Best Interest Assessor and Social Worker as well as volunteering with ShelterBox.
